Taj Mahotsavaa

Taj Mahotsava is a festival celebrated in the springtime in India. February is the month when this festival is celebrated in Agra. During the springtime the beautiful nature in India is all decked up in colorful attires that remind us of the springtime with all its colorful flowers and fruits. This is a ten day festival in Agra which is basically the celebration of the typical north Indian heritage of culture, music, cuisines, dance and to top it all the typical north Indian style of craftsmanship. The celebration of this festival is done along with non stop merry making, carnival, done mainly with aid from the Uttar Pradesh Tourism. The celebration is done annually at a place called Shilpgram. This place is located quite close to the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahotsava is considered to be a glowing tribute to the very talented matercraftsmen. This historical monument of Taj Mahal bears the legacies of the Mughal emperors to the present world.
